Home' Clinical Aesthetics : CA Issue 5 Contents SEE THE FUTURE
Differentiate your clinic by enabling
your patients to see their future.
With its 3D assessment and
simulation tools, the new Vectra H1
Handheld 3D Imaging System allows you to
easily communicate both surgical and non-
surgical procedures on a three-dimensional
image of your patient.
This means you can visualise
their expectations, arrive at a shared
understanding of goals, and help them
decide on the best possible treatment plan.
For instance, you could show your patient
the effect of combining procedures such as
cheek augmentation with neck liposuction.
Three facial captures are automatically
stitched into one realistic 3D image.
Grey mode reveals contours, presenting
opportunities for corrective procedures.
Then with Face Sculptor you can show
patients how you could enhance their
appearance and the difference between the
likely outcome of a single procedure or by
combining multiple procedures.
Photographs can be captured to the
camera's SD card, or when tethered to a
workstation PC, directly into the patient chart.
Ideal for facial aesthetics and clinical
documentation, the lightweight, easy-to -
handle system (that needs minimal staff
training) is also good for small-to -medium
field imaging on any part of the anatomy.
Manufacturer Canfield's proprietary
RBX technology allows you to analyse their
subsurface skin conditions by separating
the unique colour signatures of red and
brown skin components. Thus you can
more effectively prescribe skin treatment
protocols and products.
When you're finished, click the optional
Print button to select what you wish to show
on the printed report, including clinic
information and 2D views of simulation.
The technology will surely help you to
convert and keep more clients, and create
demand for complementary procedures.
The Vectra H1 is completely self-
contained with integrated flash and ranging
lights, and needs minimal staff training.
PREPARE THE CANVAS
If a patient is going to invest the time and
money in enhancing their appearance with
surgical or non-surgical procedures such
as injectables, it can compromise results if
their skin is not in optimum condition.
Jet Peel 3V treatment is an all-
natural, virtually painless procedure that
dramatically improves the appearance and
texture of skin, promotes wrinkle reduction,
removal of unwanted pigmentation and
overall skin rejuvenation. It is also very
useful for treating acne, blackheads and
other comedone eruptions as it quickly and
effortlessly removes them without pain.
You "scan" a patient's skin with the
handpiece and gently "pressure wash" it. It
is cool and soothing, gently cleansing and
unclogging pores and removing build-up,
and leaves skin hydrated and nourished.
Jet Peel also massages skin and promotes
circulation, making it look vibrant, smooth
and younger. Treatments are usually
administered in a series of sessions, followed
by a maintenance session every few months.
There is no downtime; skin may pink
during treatment but should return to
normal within 15--30 minutes.
Jet Peel 3V treatments are mostly
commonly performed on face, neck and
décolleté. However, they can be easily
administered to any body area requiring
deep cleansing, smoothing and hydration.
Acne treatments are often done for healing
enhancement and deep cleansing.
Although most often used as a
standalone to correct a multitude of skin
problems, Jet Peel 3V treatments can be
combined with other procedures like IPL,
depending on the individual's skin.
The device's supersonic infusion-style
technology delivers essential elements,
water and oxygen, deep within the skin---
fundamental basics of all cellular growth
Celebrity Dannii Minogue is a big fan
of jet peel treatments: "My skin is very thin
and delicate and it can't handle much I've
been having medical jet peels and they're just
amazing. I've also been getting IPL to help try
and keep the collagen and that's really it.
